Olivier Roy, Acupuncteur
I have always placed public education and awareness at the center of my practice, whether through writing articles, hosting public workshops, or producing media content. I contributed to the print edition of Coup de Pouce magazine — the most widely read magazine in Quebec — as well as its online version, through the joint production of multiple video tutorials for the francophone public. I also participated in the Marina Orsini show on ICI Radio-Canada, and with Watchmojo for a series of interviews presenting acupuncture, its history and therapeutic modalities, aimed at the anglophone public.

LASER Acupuncture: A Technological Evolution

Clinique Shanti is a facility that controls its greenhouse gas emissions! A smoke-free clinic seems obvious, doesn't it? Yet the Chinese character for 'acupuncturist' traditionally refers to one who uses fire and metal to restore balance. Many acupuncturists today have abandoned the practice of moxibustion — the fire element of their practice — because of the harmful smoke it generates. Infrared laser represents a technological evolution of moxibustion.
